Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, the former governor of Rivers State and a presidential hopeful under the platform of the All Progressives Congress, on Saturday called for peace, more commitment to God, and support for the things of God as children of God almighty.
Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, who was represented by Sir Hon. Lucky Ugochukwu Worluh, spoke at the Third Session of the Fifth Synod of Ecclesiastical Province of Niger Delta, Diocese of Ikwerre, thanking the church for its role in society building and urging clergymen and everyone to pray for him (Amaechi).
“I implore the church to remember Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi in their prayers,” he said.
Lucky Worluh instilled in the people the importance of showing maximum support for Amaechi’s presidential bid, pushing everyone to spread the word about why Amaechi merits their support and prayers in order for him to become Nigeria’s president.
He informed clerics and the public that the reward is enormous, especially with a man like Amaechi as President of Nigeria, who has so much vision, fear of God, experience, track record, humility, commitment, and courage.
“The economy, security, education, health, infrastructure, and all other sectors of the country would turn around positively,” he said.
According to True Blue Reporters, Amaechi supported the Synod, a move that drew applause, delight, and gratitude from His Grace, Most Rev’d Dr. Blessing C. Enyindah, other clergymen and the participants
