The All Progressives Congress, APC in Rivers State is relentlessly preparing for a massive Thanksgiving Service in Port Harcourt bid to hold on the 9th of April 2023
Arrangements and other preparations at Adokiye Amiesimaka stadium are on top gear as various sub-committees for the Thanksgiving Service have been taking turns to carry out their duties within and outside the area.
True Blue Reporters reports that Members of the APC in Rivers State are in high spirit as not less than seven thousand persons are expected to be in attendance as a way of reawakening party consciousness of its members.
The Thanksgiving Service which is believed to be in appreciation to God for the turbulence times the Rivers State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress went through since 2019, that also led to the party in the state being excluded from the ballot in the last general election. A situation which the party believe is over haven successfully conducted its ward congress, LGA congress, state congress and recently concluded National Convention of the APC. Party executives have also emerged and sworn in at the various levels.
The Minister of Transportation, Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi is expected to be at the Thanksgiving Service with his friends from other states. An event which many rumours may be an opportunity for the Minister of Transportation to react to his call to declare for the 2023 Presidential race. Will Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi make his intention to join the presidential race on the 9th of April in Port Harcourt? A question still in the lips of most political observers.
The APC Chairman in the state, Emeka Beke, Dawari George, Tonye Cole, Victor Giadom where among party chieftains who had visited the planned venue of the event to see the level of preparations as at today. Members of the media committee and other sub-committees are all making frantic efforts to make that day memorable
