As Christians join their counterpart across the world to commemorate the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, Wife of the Minister for Transportation and Founder of the Empowerment Support Initiative Mrs Amaechi Judith has appealed to Christians to use the Easter season to renew their relationships with their children and instil virtues of peace , moral rectitude and harmonious relationships which the season represents.
Mrs Amaechi stated this on Friday in her Easter message to felicitate with Christians at Easter in a statement signed by Dr. Dike Bekwele, Media Aide to wife of the minister for transportation
She expressed worries over high moral decadence among youths in the country and call for circumspect and advised families to redirect their positive energy to raising children with the fear of God .

Mrs Amaechi further stated that the death and resurrection of Jesus christ calls for renewal of families values , Christians faith and a commitment for harmonious relationships among Nigerian families .
According to Former Rivers First Lady, Nigerians at the moment are in dire need of love , peaceful co- existence and high moral rectitude .
She added that Nigerians especially Christians should not pay lips service to commemorate Easter, rather a time to reflect on the significance of the season and reinforce good and positive family values.
