The IAUOE Ndele Campus is an extension of the Ignatius Ajuru University of Education and has been in existence for over 20yrs of the institution harbouring different departments and faculties with large number of students
Recently, a stroll to the campus shows that almost all departments and faculties have been relocated back to the Rumuolumeni campus, leaving the Ndele campus almost deserted.
While the buildings are fast collapsing, grasses and reptiles has taken over part of the campus with no hope of returning the beauty of the campus so soon if the government, the Vice Chancellor and well meaning individuals continue to ignore the dying state of the institution.
Youths of the Ndele community have cried out calling on Governor Nyesom Wike not to allow the campus die the way is going. They lamented that there’s need for the governor to visit the campus as its clear the vice chancellor and lecturers have abandoned the place.
True Blue Reporters recall that the University management rather than rising up to the public cry, took to their page to deny the dilapidated photos of the University flying all over social media, describing it as old pictures.
True Blue Reporters visited the campus and can authoritatively report that reptiles and grasses are taking over the campus as nothing seems to be happening in the Ndele campus currently like that of the Rumuolumeni campus of same institution.
Reason why departments where taken away from the campus with most of the school activities also taken away is still not clear as we cannot ascertain at this moment if there are plans to completely shutdown the campus by the governor Nyesom Wike led administration and the Professor Ndimele VCship
