The Ignatius Ajuru University of Education has come out to refute pictures making round on social media, showing deteriorated facilities in Ndele Campus of the University.
In a statement signed by the school P. R. O, posted on the school page, stated that the pictures seen on social media are the old look of the campus before the tenure of the current vice chancellor, saying that it does not represent the current look of the Ndele Campus.
According to the statement backed by photo of the school entrance and few building, “Please those posting old pictures of the place before the Vice-Chancellor of the University Professor Ozo-Mekuri Ndimele came on board should please desist from spreading falsehood. Seeing is believing as the saying goes. Do not be deceived.”
True Blue Reporters gathered that the sad situation at the campus were there are no new structure for years with an almost deserted campus due to the removal of courses and departments from the Ndele campus to the other campus in Port Harcourt, led some person into showcasing the ugly situation in the area, calling on the attention of the governor, Nyesom Wike.
While many have said the target is not about the Vice Chancellor, but about the deteriorating structures and collapsing of the Ndele Campus that has been in existence and bubbling for many years.
Ndele campus has produced many students both at the primary, secondary and tertiary level. The secondary school, Demonstration Ndele is also said to be facing sad situation.
It is expected that the Ndele campus should start experiencing good turn around rather than the show of who is right or wrong
