APC CONVENTION: House of Reps Aspirant, Nyema Worukwo Reacts

As the National Convention of the All Progressives Congress slated for Saturday in Abuja draws closer, a Frontline aspirant ahead of 2023 general election for Ikwerre/Emohua Constituency, House of Representatives, Nyema Worukwo have hinted on what the success of the convention meant for the party

Nyema Worukwo who arrived Abuja on Thursday evening through the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport to attend the APC convention slated for Saturday said the party is very prepared to get it right at this time and will not settle for anything less.

Nyema told True Blue Reporters that he came into Abuja for the convention even though he wasn’t a delegate but as an observer in the convention. He expressed hope of better outcome after Saturday and said he may make his observation public so other party can learn from the APC.

When asked if he has preferred  candidate for 2023, Nyema Worukwo stated without mincing words that he desires to have Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi as the presidential candidate of APC die to his long time political experience and integrity.

“I have positive hope for better Nigeria and I will go for whatever I see is good for Nigeria. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi is truly what Nigeria needs for positive growth and development. Sincerely, I have confidence in him and I will really wish he present himself for the presidential race. He is my preferred candidate.”

Nyema explained that his ambition to represent Ikwerre/Emohua Constituency at the national assembly is due to his Ernest desire to drive the desired positive change through quality representative.

He further canvased for youth participation in politics at the ward, LGA, State and national level. He insisted that fresh ideas runs through youths and it will be wise to bring those positive ideas in the development of Nigeria and the society at large.
