Ward Secretaries’ Forum of the All Progressives Congress in Rivers State has agreed on a Partnership deal with the State Executive Committee on Tuesday during a visit to the party’s secretariat in Port Harcourt.
In a joint session with the Ward Secretaries’ Forum and the State Executive Committee of the All Progressives Congress, Rivers State, David Nelson-Ordu, Chairman Ward Secretaries’ Forum who spoke on behalf of his colleagues, congratulated the State Leadership and Commended them on the stability of the Party and their readiness to restore the common glory of the APC in Rivers State.
He also emphasized and briefed on the details of the forum’s Partnership as to enhance the Party’s Performance in 2023 General Election.
“We Congratulate your emergence and Inauguration as Chairman and other Executive of Rivers State APC respectively. You are Manifestly an antidote to the challenges of our Party as we are confident that you will deliver on the mandate reposed on you.”
“The Forum is committed to a Partnership on Methodical Steps in developing a Tech Based Strategy in Prosecuting 2023 General Election. The need for Developing a Cyberspace Team for e-Election Mechanism, and Cyberspace Politics and Branding for our Party amongst others. Of course, the Political Significance of computer mediated system is in its capacity to challenge and extinct existing Political hierarchy monopolistic tendencies of traditional mechanism and perhaps, thus, revitalizing Credibility in the system. Therefore, we must tap into this resourceful methodology.”
In a separate statement, the Chairman of the APC in Rivers State, Chief Emeka Beke on behalf of the State Executive Committee, agreed to the details and other steps that will give victory to the party. He further encouraged the Forum to deepen their commitment to the growth and success of the Party and directed the State Secretary, Hon. Sam Sam Etetegwung to work with the Forum and develop a Blue Print for further consideration.
A fruitful Meeting which ended with exchange of intel and synergy, also agreed on “Per Minute Reports” on the Activities in the Ward level.
